Currently all that is completed is basic priming of the tins & exhaust to check for mold seams. Basic construction of the engine and various other parts has also begun, to start working on removing seams and joint marks.
I am trying a new technique with this build, that involves using Milliput 2 part epoxy putty, to fill in the hollow spaces in the frame, swing arm and stand, to give a more realistic appearance to the completed parts.
I am going to try heat staining the exhaust following instructions in an article of Scale Auto Magazine, written by Clay Kemp. I am also planning on painting the engine and frame pieces with several different colors of Alclad II paint. The body work will be painted w/ Tamiya & Vallejo paints.
